Founded in 1922, many things have changed in the 85 years that Altany, Loynd & Lindquist has been serving the Pittsburgh and Allegheny Valley region as an independent insurance agency. What hasn’t changed, however, is the need for businesses to stay current with industry trends and their overall image.
David Gusmar, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, recognized the 85th Anniversary as the perfect opportunity to announce the launch of the new Altany, Loynd & Lindquist Web site and Logo. “We thought it only fitting that a corporation as old and established as ours, take a step toward the future,” said Gusmar. “We had been considering it for a couple of years now, but were a little intimidated by the concept. We knew it was going to be a time consuming project and the timing had to be right.”
Developed locally by 2440 Media, Inc. of Tarentum PA, the new site was designed with a modern look while at the same time offering a conservative, classy feel to visitors. “We understand the important role that customer confidence plays in the insurance business” says Bob Kruse, head developer on the project “we tried to convey that in the overall appearance of the site.” Additionally, the site is coded using pure CSS providing easier accessibility to users with disabilities, as well as improving load-time and cross-browser compatibility.
